My say: So when I decided to watch this drama I bored as ever and aimlessly surfing Hulu. Since Heirs wasn't looking too appealing to me, (even though there were two whole episodes waiting for me) I was still in a Lee Min Ho haze, so I jumped right into the series. Right off the bat, this drama started with a nice action scene and I mean good action acting none of that no-touch stuff like Blade over Flower. I'm sorry to those of you that just loved that drama but I couldn't even get through 15 mins. Those were some horrible action scenes but that's another story that I'll be sure to get to.

Most of us are Min Ho bias, well anyone that watched Boys over flowers is,( which is all of us) so I can't be the only that thinks he looks great when using his sword. Then again, I think that's also because of the director. There are little points in this drama that make it seem so realistic it's unbelievable. In a lot of historical dramas where someone goes back in time, there's the thought of how that person is able to keep up their hygiene (Or am I the only that thinks of morning breath in the kiss scenes?). In other dramas or movies, they pretty much leave it out but in this drama they embraced it and glided it into Kim Hee Seon's character, Yoo Eun Soo For example, when she gave everyone toothpaste, soap, and make up, they kind of answered the questions that I usually ask, without bluntly saying it. Another point in detail is Eun Soo's hair during the drama. In the beginning she has these beautiful, voluminous curls through out some episodes and with my probing mind I started questioning how her hair could have curls in the Joseon Era without any heat tools. I guess the director noticed it too since after that episode her hair didnt look the same anymore and looked as though she had no heat tools. That's just a few of many examples that show that this drama was done with precision.

On to the acting; the acting was good with a few exceptions here and there. Dr. Jang for instance just had one expression the whole time. I wouldn't be able to tell you whether he was mad, sad, or glad from his face alone. (But that might be due to the Botox) On the other hand, Min Ho and Hee Seon together is one of the best casting choices I've seen in my k-drama history. Hee Seon is a decade older than Min Ho and yet she looks perfect next to him. Their chemistry is UNBELIEVABLE. My favorite scene of the couple is when Eun Soo is in his room and she calls him Captain. Young Do steps closer and practically whispers "Say Captain again," then leans in for a kiss her. On my ovaries!!!!! Like seriously, Min Ho, she's a married woman calm is down; you making me ship you two isn't fair to her husband. The ending of this drama really took me over the edge. I was bawling like a baby and smiling so wide that I almost drowned in my tears.

All in all, this drama was magnificent and is another must see. It's definitely going to the top of my favorites list. It's a well-rounded drama that even someone like me, who is super picky, could be satisfied. There's melodrama, comedy, romance, action, and not to mention fabulous scenery. Don't wait and watch this drama. Saw it already? Watch it again! I know I will.
