Artist: Gavy NJ
Label: LOEN Entertainment
Release Date: April 18, 2013
Rating: 6 out of 10
My Say: Firstly, I know this is a low rating and the video deserved it but don't let that discourage you from listening to the song. The video itself is boring, plain, and was oddly edited while the song is beautifully sung and the acoustic sense makes it perfectly dramatic. This is the type of song that would do righteous to an overly sappy, dramatic, ludicrous scene in k-dramas. If you like these kinds of scenes or easily moved by the music I recommend this song for you but close your eyes and listen to the song.
Artist: Infinite
Label: Woollim Entertainment
Release Date: March 20, 2013
Rating: 10 out 10
My Say: There's not much to say about this video since it really speaks for itself. Its a cute, bright, funky, romantic video that would make almost any girl's heart beat a bit faster. The only compliant I could have was that it was too good; how can you lead girls on like that Infinite! This video is like a bunch of Infinite fangirls' dreams bundled into one fat fantasy. This is an overload of Infinite cute, I promise you there are dozens of girls drooling over their computer screens right now. Thank you Infinite for making the world have even crazier fangirls. But in all seriousness, this is a great song along with a better video check it out.
Title: Somebody
Artist: 15&Sound
Label: JYP Entertainment
Release Date: April 8, 2013
Rating: 8 out of 10
My Say: This duo group is a favorite of mine since they are young and highly talented but the video isn't all that great. I gave an 8 out of generosity since the song is really catchy and I came to like the video more after a few watches. Now, I'm not saying its horrible but its not as funny as they tried to make it out to be. Some may say that I don't get the video because I didn't watch K-PopStar but its a pretty simple concept to understand or catch on to. If they wanted to do this parody of KPS then they should of made either the judges' or contestants' actions funnier or just could of added more of their performance into the video. On that note, the male back up dancers' outfit were weird and not even funny weird, just weird. Hence, the video isn't the best but indeed the song does make up for it so don't hesitate to watch it.
Title: Second confession
Artist: BtoB
Label: Cube Entertainment
Release Date: April 10, 2013
Rating: 10 out of 10
My Say: I was reluctant to give this video a 10 because I didn't want to seem boy band bias but after watching the video for the third time I found no reason not to. The video's scenery has a vintage and subtle beauty which completely compliments BtoB's dashing and cute dance. The song went hand and hand with the video since it was about confessing to a girl and in the video there was a letter that floated around until it ended up in a girl's possession. Though this type of theme is over played, BtoB was able to make it seem fresh with their bright clothing, sunny atmosphere, to the cute scene with them playing instruments in a small but romantic decorated room. If you wanted to see more dancing for this video then go watch their pajama version aka dance version which I would give another 10 out 10 due to the cute idea of dancing in pajamas. The link here.
