Yes, its finally out! I said that I was going to release it on Friday but editing took longer than expected. This was my first time recording myself and actually putting out for the world to see and I know its not perfect, I know I have a lot to improve on but I'm a bit proud pf myself for stepping out of my comfort zone. I really enjoyed recording and even editing was fun so I'll definitely be doing this again. Please be sure to listen to the podcast and tell me your thoughts.

Drama Recap Podcast Coming Soon!

Posted by AyeGirl at 11:47 PM 0 comments
I know its been a month without any blog posts and I'm sorry but I've been preoccupied. I'm going to make sure to keep myself in check so that I can be more efficient. If you read the title, it may seem sudden but I've wanted to do some kind of  podcast episode recaps for a while now. First, I was waiting for the right drama, then when I found the right drama I chickened out and couldn't do it so episodes went by and I didn't want to start recaps in the middle of the series. Then, I changed my mind and tried to record but I realized that the mic I had (My crappy laptop mic) wasn't clear enough to use so I had to postpone it all together. BUT, I've bought a semi-decent mic and I've found another drama that I'm really excited  about, which is You're All Surrounded, so I've mustered up the courage to write a blog post beforehand so that I can't chicken out again. The first episode of the drama is set to air May 7, Wednesday and Thursday, its a drama set around rookie detectives that work at Gangnam Police Station. I'm a police-show freak, most of the American shows I watch are crime solving shows, so I'm always excited when there's a k-drama remotely related to solving a mystery or the police.

BTS Just One Day MV Review

Posted by AyeGirl at 12:16 AM 0 comments

Title: Just One Day
Artist: BTS
Release Date: April 6, 2014

My Say: Yes! Oh yes! I listened to BTS's album Skool Luv Affair and I can honestly say its pure gold but Just One Day is my ultimate favorite and I'm ecstatic that they made a MV. Some people may not know about the incident with Rap Mon but I'll address it before I talk about Just One Day. On a music program, Show Champion I think, BTS was performing a special stage and they covered two Shinwa songs. This Love and T.O.P, T.O.P has the N word in the English rap in the beginning of the song, which RM rapped. He indeed said the word, it wasn't bleeped, and was even written on the screen too.

Super Junior-M Swing & Lunafly Special Guy MV Review

Posted by AyeGirl at 1:03 AM 0 comments

Title: Swing
Artist: Super Junior-M
Release Date: March 24, 2014

My Say: The boys are back! The boys are back! I'll be honest, when I first got into k-pop I barely knew who Super Junior was. I knew the group's name but ask me the name of one the members or who's my bias and you lost me. Today is my first time seeing SuJu-M thanks to this video and I finally learned all the names of Super Junior's members. Before you all stone me to death, understand that its not my fault but actually all the other idols' fault for distracting me with their pretty faces as SuJu took a hiatus.

Toheart Delicious MV Review

Posted by AyeGirl at 3:13 PM 0 comments

Title: Delicious
Artist: Toheart
Release Date: March 10, 2014
Rating: 8 out of 10

My Say:   Let me make it clear, I'm a Shawol to the bone and even though Key's not my bias, he's one of my favorite people in k-pop. But that doesn't mean I'm going to automatically fall in love with every video he's in. I enjoyed this video but by the end I felt like something was missing and I was a bit disappointed. The best part of the MV isn't actually the MV, which is the ending clip of Key and Woohyun in the bathroom.

BTS Boy in Luv and TVXQ Spellbound Review

Title: Boy in Luv
Artist: BTS
Release Date: Feb. 11, 2014
Rating: 8 out of 10

My Say: BTS is probably my favorite rookie group right now and I do classify myself as an A.R.M.Y but I also try to be bias as little as possible. The video was....Um, good but the song was great though. I would have rated this video even lower if the choreography wasn't a main aspect of the video. The song is of course a love song and the video is themed around it, which is a "bad boy" falls for a girl and tries to get her. But what I saw in the video was straight up harassment and in the real world you'd get slapped for that.

SONES VS BLACKJACKS

Posted by AyeGirl at 3:34 AM 0 comments
I'm probably going to make a few people mad by saying this but I'm neither a Sone or a Blackjack. By no means am I saying that I don't love these two girl groups, I'm just not a fandom member, I'm just a regular fan of theirs. I found 2ne1 and SNSD around the same time and their MVs were among my first encounters with K-POP, which I'll forever be thankful and grateful for. These girls have been around for a long time, they're beautiful, talented, successful, and their huge fan bases are proof of that.

What's happening, Propose Song, Mama Beat, and Going to you MV Reviews

Posted by AyeGirl at 12:01 AM 0 comments

Title: Propose Song
Artist: 4Men
Label: Happy Face Entertainment
Release Date: May 7, 2013
Rating: 8.5 out of 10

My Say: Another beautifully sung song by 4Men and I've come to like this trio a lot, probably too much. I suppose I put this group on a pedestal that might of been too high. What I mean by that is how much I was excepting from this video, which was a new concept, maybe the group themselves, or just something that would make this video distinctive. Since Thank You was released not too long ago, I think that this video reminds me too much of Thank You, which I'm not so crazy about. I know there's  people that think otherwise and maybe your right so I rated this video without Thank You in mind. The video goes with the theme of the song, has a romantic touch to it, and I don't really have anything bad to say about the video nor anything exceptional to say. Overall, its a good song and nice video, I would recommend this song to new fans since you may not critic the video as much as I do so you'll be able to enjoy it better than I did.

Love blossom, Thank you, Shaking heart, and Joah MV Reviews

Posted by AyeGirl at 4:16 AM 0 comments

Title: Love Blossom
Artist: K.Will
Label: Starship Entertainment
Release Date: April 3, 2013
Rating: 9.5 out of 10

My Say: This is a light and fluffy romance video with some comedy. The sad thing about the video is that this was K.will's first appearance in his own video because his company said he was too ugly. Which, in my opinion, is completely ludicrous because as you can see in the video, K.will is quite handsome. The video is funny and the more you watch it the more funny surprises you notice but the acting is a bit awkward. I would of given this video a 10 but due to the acting it lost that .5 but its still a great video so you should watch it.

In an effort to protect her, he takes the blame for a crime that she committed. 7 years later, out of jail, expelled from medical school, broke, and his noona living a life of luxury, Ma-Roo devises a plan to bring Jae-Hee to him. Unfortunately, Seo Eun-Gi, Jae-Hee's step-daughter, is the road map to that destination and becomes engulfed in their war. But along the way, even with Eun-Gi's feisty, arrogant attitude, she and Ma-Roo develop feelings for each other. Maybe Eun-Gi is what Ma-Roo needed to forget Han-Jae? Maybe Han-Jae and Ma-Roo's relationship is too strong to forget? Only way to find out is to watch the drama.
